If you notice any of these, get them checked. Don't wait, and don't worry about being a bother.
Obvious swelling
of your hands, face, or upper body
Severe pain
just below the ribs in the middle of your tummy
A persistent headache
that doesn't ease with rest or paracetamol
Your baby's movements
slow down, change, or stop
Problems with vision
blurring, flashing lights or spots, difficulty focusing
Vaginal bleeding
or leaking fluid (clear or any colour)
A high temperature
fever, chills, or feeling generally unwell
Itch
particularly on the hands and feet
If you're worried, call.
We'd always rather hear from you. We never mind a check-in that turns out to be nothing.
