The first few days with a new baby can be a bit of a blur. Rest where you can, take your time, and let yourself get to know your little one.

Depending on how long or complicated your birth was, you and your partner may already be pretty tired by the time your baby arrives. The joy of meeting them usually carries you through those early days, but it is important to rest and to take time to bond.
It is normal for it all to feel overwhelming, and to not yet know what your baby's cues mean. That settles. The resources here will help you understand what to expect from a healthy baby in the first days, weeks and months.
