Medical termination in Bathurst

At least four Bathurst general practices have GPs who provide medical termination of pregnancy (MTOP, sometimes called the abortion pill or MS-2 Step). Call the practice and ask for an appointment with a GP who provides MTOP. Reception will book you with the right GP.

Call as soon as you can. MTOP is time-critical and only available up to 9 weeks of pregnancy.

Cost. Consultations are generally bulk billed, but worth checking when you book. The medication is on the PBS.

Medication. Most pharmacies in Bathurst stock MS-2 Step.

If you are past nine weeks

Surgical termination is not available in Bathurst. The standard pathway from Central West NSW is to MSI Australia in Sydney. You do not need a referral, you can contact them directly.
