COVID Vaccines- before, during and after pregnancy

As of July 2021, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID 19. There is strong evidence of the benefits of being vaccinated for women in this group. Likewise there is excellent safety data from around the world reassuring us that the Cominarty (Pfizer) vaccine is safe to take at any stage of pregnancy and all COVID vaccines currently available in Australia are safe for breastfeeding mothers.
