Find a GP

Visiting a GP is the first step on your journey to a healthy pregnancy. Some GPs have additional training in antenatal care and will care for you in pregnancy until birth. Other GPs may choose to provide antenatal care for the first 12 weeks of the pregnancy and then refer the expecting mother on to a colleague with expertise in antenatal care. This may be a GP obstetrician, a midwife or specialist obstetrician.

Here is a list of the General Practices in Bathurst. Not all practices offer comprehensive antenatal care and it is best to discuss this with your own GP before deciding on the type of antenatal care that suits you and your pregnancy.
